It does not have special requirements (wearing two gold items for example or attire from the current season only), but when it often costs nearly that much to create an outfit that even has a chance of hitting the four star mark you need to win the prize, it's not worth much. Most other events give $100 for entering. Just before I stopped playing I had reduced myself to only entering events that I didn't need to buy anything for to save money, while still holding true to the theme (though that doesn't always matter). I'd like to think that most people are like me in this instance, that they aren't about to waste actual money on pretend clothing and accessories that they can't use in real life. That may be wishful thinking, but I'm airing on the side of common sense here. Apparently there is a slight reward system when one gets a friend to join in (not something I ever tried to do), but I've read countless complaints on the App's Facebook page about diminishing returns on that front.
